- Are you aware that residents in the Dean Park neighbourhood have complained for years about vehicles exceeding the speed limits, particularly on Dean Park Road and East Saanich Road, and that police enforcement has not helped? Yes_____ No____X__

Yes___X__ No_____

e. A crosswalk at the bottom of Dean Park Road to allow people, particularly those catching a bus, to safely cross East Saanich Road?
Yes ___X_____ No_________
5. What other ideas do you have to calm traffic?
Dean Park Road predates the residential development in Dean Park and the long steep gradient encourages excessive speed. Some jurisdictions have also used small traffic circles to slow traffic flow. I defer to those with more expertise as to what might work best in this situation.
Also the cost of different options would need to be determined and how those costs would be funded. There would need to be consultation with and support of the residents to whatever options are acted upon.
6. How often do you walk or run for leisure, fitness or to commute?
Daily_X _______ A couple times a week________
A couple times a month_____ Rarely________
