5. What other ideas do you have to calm traffic ? Street lights at the intersections of East Saanich Rd. and Forest Park Rd., Dean Park Road, and Barrett Dr. Extremely dark at these main intersections. Lower speed limits throughout the area would help. Sidewalks at least on one side of the main streets for pedestrian safety. Certainly bike paths and sidewalks on East Saanich Rd. would be a great assest. Flashing lights at main intersections could help make people aware of these busy areas.
